The Foundation focuses its efforts on education and research projects that advance the gear industry. Recent projects include:

1) grants to AGMA for education programs, including:
Gearbox CSI
Workforce Training Series
Gear Failure Analysis Online Course
AGMA Webinar Series
Detailed Gear Design

2) a scholarship program to assist students at the Technical/Associate, Undergraduate, and Graduate levels who are interested in gearing. Over the past six years, the Foundation has awarded $125,000 in scholarships. Eighty-six percent of scholarship recipients are working in the gear industry,

3) a grant to AGMA for the research and education aspects of its 2016 Centennial Celebration! Foundation funds were used for a Centennial book, timeline exhibit, video and online timeline.
